Students in this department learn to deal with "quality of life" issues--the natural resources, ecosystem, environment, resources sustaining usage , and people. They are trained for employment in the following areas:

1. Forestry and natural resources management and contracting,
2. Supervision and management of forest and natural environments,
3. Ecosystem and habitat restoration,
4. Bio-materials and livelihood related product design utilization,
5. Environmental and regulatory agencies,
6. Research organizations
